Clear answers to keep your business moving forward.
If you’ve got questions, you’re in the right place. From forming your company to booking talent, we’ve answered the most common questions so you can take action without delays.
Category 1 – Starting Your U.S. Business
Q: How fast can I launch my U.S. business?
A: Many entrepreneurs complete their LLC formation and obtain their EIN within a few days to a few weeks, depending on the state, IRS processing times, and how quickly they submit their information.
Q: Do you file my documents for me?
A: The Toolkit gives you step-by-step guidance and templates. Done-for-you filings are available upon request.
Q: Which U.S. state should I choose?
A: It depends on tax rates, market reach, and banking preferences. We cover these trade-offs in the Toolkit and during consults.
Category 2 – Booking & Working with Talent
Q: How does Market Entry Connect work?
A: You post your gig details, share training materials, and match with verified talent. Payments are held in escrow until the event is complete.
Q: Can I book talent before my company is formed?
A: You can browse talent anytime, but we recommend forming your business for cleaner contracts and payments.
Q: What protections do I have as a brand?
A: Verified talent, escrowed payments, and the ability to approve or dispute reports before payment release.
Category 3 – Getting Paid as Talent
Q: When will I get paid?
A: Your payment is protected. After you submit your report, the brand has up to 48 hours to review the work. Once approved, or if no dispute is raised within 48 hours, the funds will be released to you automatically.
Q: Do I need a U.S. bank account?
A: No. You just need a Stripe Connect account linked to your preferred payout method.
Q: What if an event is canceled?
A: If a brand cancels the event, you won’t be penalized. If you’ve already completed approved work or incurred approved expenses, you may be eligible for partial compensation based on the event’s cancellation terms.
Category 4 – Platform & Compliance
Q: What happens if there’s a dispute?
A: If a dispute arises, payment will be temporarily held while our team reviews the event report, supporting documentation, and communications between the parties. We will make a fair and impartial determination based on the evidence provided and notify both parties of the outcome.
Q: Is my personal information safe?
A: Yes. We use secure storage and encrypted payments.
Q: What compliance resources do you offer?
A: Our Toolkit and Templates Pack cover legal requirements and ongoing updates.
